Bike it to Leathertown
Bike it to Leathertown will be happening again this year at the Leathertown Festival!
The Halton Hills Bike Challenge is a free event that encourages everyone to get outside and ride their bikes! Their goal is to reach over 400,000 km biked -that’s greater than the distance from the Moon to the Earth! Bike it to Leathertown helps to raise money for the Georgetown Hospital! Help out this awesome cause by jumping on your bicycle -fun for just you or the whole family!
You have your choice of two bike ride experiences! You can either join the Leathertown highlights tour and take a casual tour of the lovely heritage neighborhoods of Acton (1.5 hours). Or you can take part in the Rural vistas -a bike tour that is a little more intermediate and you can ride through the rolling hills of south and west Acton -traveling through farm land, and cool forests (2-2.5 hours -50km). Both of these tours arrive back at the Leathertown Festival so you can enjoy the experience!!
